Vitexin is a C-glycosylated flavonoid found in a variety of medicinal plants such as Ficus deltoid and Spirulina (Spirodela polyrhiza). Vitexin has a wide range of pharmacological effects, including antioxidant, anticancer, anti-inflammatory, anti-hyperalgesia and neuroprotective effects.
