Biological Activity

Vitamin E Succinate (VES) is a derivative of Vitamin E, Some studies have shown that VES can block the tumor cell cycle in G1 phase, promote tumor cell differentiation, inhibit tumor cell DNA synthesis, increase the secretion and activation of TGF-β, enhance the expression of TGF-βII receptor, and induce tumor cell apoptosis. Vitamin E succinate VES play a role of anti proliferation of tumor cells of rats and human neuroblastoma, rat glioma, rodents B - 16 melanoma, human prostate cancer lymph cell tumor, birds, human young granulocyte leukemia, human breast cancer, early human B lymphocyte tumor, rats EL4T lymphocyte tumor such as malignant cells, Inhibition of TUMOR growth by VES was also demonstrated in a holistic study, and tumor regression was induced by local injection of VES(4 weeks) in an animal model of buccal epithelial carcinoma in gophers. Vitamin E Succinate (VES) is a derivative of Vitamin E, which can block the tumor cell cycle in G1 phase, promote the differentiation of tumor cells, inhibit the synthesis of DNA of tumor cells, increase the secretion and activation of TGF-β and enhance the expression of TGF-βII receptor, and induce the apoptosis of tumor cells. It also showed proteasome agonist activity with EC50=7μmol/L.
