Terapidil is an antiplatelet compound that partially acts as a competitive inhibitor of phosphodiesterase inhibitors and platelet-derived growth factor (PDGF) receptors. Tropidil has vasodilation and NO release effect, which may alleviate tissue injury to some extent. Trepatil inhibits raf-1 / extracellular signal-regulated kinase (ERK) by inhibiting platelet-derived growth factor (PDGF) -induced proliferation of vascular smooth muscle cells (VSMC) through cAMP/ protein kinase A (PKA). In addn. Trampidil inhibited the activation of RhoA/ROCK by cAMP/PKA.
