Biological Activity

Tirofiban (L700462) is a selective and reversible platelet integrin receptor (Gp IIb/IIIa) antagonist that inhibits fibrinogen binding to this receptor and has antithrombotic activity. Tirofiban induces proliferation and migration on endothelial cell by inducing production of VEGF.
