Thymopentin is a bioactive peptide secreted primarily by thymic cortex and medullary epithelial cells. Thymopentin is a potent immunomodulator with a short plasma half-life (30 seconds). Thymopentin enables the generation of T cell populations from human embryonic stem cells.
