Biological Activity

T7 RNA polymerase is a DNA-dependent RNA polymerase that specifically recognizes the T7 promoter sequence (5' -TaatacgactCactatagggaga-3 '). T7 RNA polymerase can catalyze NTP incorporation of single or double stranded DNA template downstream of T7 promoter to synthesize RNA complementary to the downstream DNA template of T7 promoter. Linear plasmids containing T7 promoters or PCR products containing T7 promoters can be used as templates for RNA synthesis in vitro. It can be used to synthesize various RNA precursors including mRNA, siRNA, gRNA and so on.

Source: This product is expressed by Escherichia coli and the expressed gene is phage T7 RNA polymerase gene

Cetrimonium Bromide

Cetrimonium Bromide is a known component of the broad-spectrum antiseptic cetrimide, which is a mixture of different quaternary ammonium salts.

Chicken egg albumin (agarose gel electrophoresis)

Chicken egg albumin, or ovalbumin, is the major protein constituent of egg whites. Ovalbumin is useful as a marker (∼45 kDa) for protein electrophoresis. Ovalbumin has been used to produce an animal model of asthma. Ovalbumin was used as a medium for cell incubation in EliCell assay for the detection of released cytokines from eosinophils. Studies to test the effects of localization on DNA immunizations use ovalbumin in antibody assays. Ovalbumin has been used as an induction agent in model studies of atopic dermatitis.

Recombinant RNase Inhibitor

RNase Inhibitor is a recombinant protein of murine origin expressed in E.coli, which specifically inhibits RNase A, B and C by binding noncovalently in a 1:1 ratio with high affinity.

Recombinant RNase R

Recombinant RNase R (E. coli) is a magnesium-dependent 3′→5′ exoribonuclease that can digest all linear RNAs but does not digest lariat or circular RNA structures. Most cellular RNAs will be digested completely by RNase R, with the exception of tRNAs, 5S RNA and intron lariats.
