Suramin Sodium Salt (Suramin hexasodium salt) is a reversible inhibitor of competitive protein tyrosine phosphatases (PTPases). Suramin Sodium Salt is an effective sirtuins inhibitor: SirT1 (IC50=297 nM), SirT2 (IC50=1.15 μM), SirT5 (IC50=22 μM). Suramin Sodium Salt is a potent INHIBITOR of SARS-COV-2 RNA-dependent RNA polymerase (RdRp). Suramin sodium salt was effective in inhibiting IP5K and was regarded as an antiparasitic, antitumor and antiangiogenic agent from medine to Medine.
