Recombinant Human Vitronectin Protein is a secreted glycoprotein synthesized in the liver. It mainly circulates in the form of monomers, but can undergo conformational changes to form disulfide bond-connected multimers. In the matrix, Vitronectin can support cell adhesion by binding to various integrins and other proteoglycans. In addition, recombinant vitamectin can act as a chemically defined matrix component in the regeneration medium of human embryonic stem cells.
Recombinant human Vitronectin promotes the attachment of hESC and iPSC under serum-free feeding conditions at 5 ug/ml.
