Biological Activity

Tissue Inhibitor of Metalloproteinases 1 (TIMP-1) is a member of TIMP family. The homologous proteins of TIMPs regulate the activity of matrix metalloproteinases (MMPs), including inhibition of active MMPs, proMMP activation, cell growth promotion, matrix binding, inhibition of angiogenesis and the induction of apoptosis. Timp-1 also mediates erythropoiesis in vitro.

Recombinant Human TIMP-1 expressed the target gene encoding Cys24-Ala207 with a 6His tag at the C-terminus.

Accession: P01033

Related Enzymes & Regulators Products
Recombinant Human MAPK8 Protein (E. coli, N-His)

MAPK8 is a multifunctional serine/threonine protein kinase that complexly regulates multiple cellular processes, including cell proliferation, apoptosis, and differentiation. MAPK8 is activated by MAP2K4/MKK4 and MAP2K7/MKK7, phosphorylates AP-1 components, and affects transcriptional activity.

Recombinant Human MMP-9 (HEK293, C-6His)

Recombinant human matrix metalloproteinase-9 is produced by a mammalian expression system and the target gene encoding Ala19-Asp707 has a 6His tag at the C-terminus. The proenzyme needs to be activated by APMA to form the active form. Protein ID: AAH06093.1.

Recombinant Human MMP-3 (HEK293, C-6His)

MMP3 is a member of the matrix metalloproteinase (MMP) family whose members are involved in the breakdown of extracellular matrix in normal physiological processes. Recombinant Human Matrix Metalloproteinase-3 is produced by Mammalian expression system and the target gene encoding Tyr18-Cys477 is expressed with a 6His tag at the C-terminus.The proenzyme needs to be activated by Chymotrypsin for an activated form.

Recombinant Human MMP-1 (HEK293, C-6His)

Matrix Metalloproteinase-1 (MMP-1) is expressed by fibroblasts, keratinocytes, endothelial cells, monocytes and macrophages. MMP-1 can degrade a broad range of substrates including types I, II, III, VII, VIII, and X collagens. The target gene encoding Phe20-Asn469 is expressed with a 6His tag at the C-terminus.The proenzyme needs to be activated by APMA for an activated form.

Recombinant Human MMP-2 Protein (HEK293, C-6His)

Recombinant Human MMP-2 (also known as matrix metalloproteinase-2) is an enzyme that in humans is encoded by the MMP2 gene.It belongs to the matrix metalloproteinase (MMP) family. MMP-2 can act on several nonmatrix proteins such as big endothelial 1 and beta-type CGRP promoting vasoconstriction. The proenzyme needs to be activated by APMA for an activated form.
