Recombinant Human TGF-β3 Protein is a multifunctional cytokine that regulates cell proliferation, growth, differentiation and movement, as well as the synthesis and deposition of extracellular matrix. TGF-β3's expression pattern suggests that it plays a regulatory role in certain developmental processes.
Measure by its ability to inhibit IL-4-induce proliferation in HT-2 cells, the ED50 for this effect is <50 pg/mL. The specific activity of recombinant human TGF beta 3 is > 2 x 107 IU/mg.
