Stromal cell-derived factor-1 α / CXCL12 (SDF-1α) and SDF-1β, members of the α subfamily of chemokines lacking the ELR domain, were originally identified from mouse bone marrow stromal cell lines using a signal-sequence trap cloning strategy.
Recombinant Human SDF-1α/CXCL12 expressed the target gene encoding Lys22-Lys89.
The biological activity determined by a chemotaxis bioassay using PHA and rHuIL-2 activated human peripheral blood T-lymphocytes is in a concentration range of 20.0-80.0 ng/ml.
