Polymyxin B nonapeptide TFA is a cyclic peptide from the naturally occurring peptide polymyxin B, it increases the permeability of the outer membrane of Gram-negative bacteria toward hydrophobic antibiotics probably by binding to the bacterial lipopolysaccharide (LPS).
