Peanut agglutinin (PNA) is a biological material or organic compound that can be used in life science research. Lectin from Arachis hypogaea (peanut) possess specificity towards β -D-Gal(1-3)-D-galNAc residue of Thomson − Friedenreich antigen. It is the most widely used diagnostic and prognostic marker for many squamous cell carcinomas.
