NGI-1 (ML414) is an inhibitor of Asparagine (N)-linked glycoslysation, which inhibits the oligosaccharyltransferase, preventing the attachment to the protein. NGI-1 induces senescence in receptor tyrosine kinase dependent tumors. NGI-1 blocks EGFR N-linked glycosylation in lung adenocarcinoma cells as assessed.
