MK-4830 is a novel, first-in-class human IgG4 monoclonal antibody targeting the myeloid-specific ILT4 (immunoglobulin-like transcript 4) receptor. MK-4830 catalyzes reprogramming of tumour-associated macrophages, relieving myelosuppression and enhancing T cell function.
MK-4830 is a fully human monoclonal antibody of the immunoglobulin G4 subclass that specifically binds to ILT4 and blocks its interaction with HLA-G and other ligands. MK-4830 binds to monocytes and granulocytes in the peripheral blood. In a humanized mouse model of cancer, MK-4830 treatment induced significant inhibition of tumor growth.
