Lobetyolin is a bioactive compound isolated from Codonopsis Pilosula. Lobetyolin has anti-inflammatory, antioxidant and xanthine oxidase inhibitory activities. Lobetyolin also induces apoptosis by inhibiting ASCT2-mediated glutamine metabolism.
