Gomisin D isa lignan compound isolated from Fructus Schisandra (Fructus Schisandra) that isa potential antidiabetic and anti-Alzheimer's drug. Gomisin D inhibits UDP-glucuronyl transferase activity and scavenge ABTS(+) free radicals. Gomisin D is used as a quality marker of Shengmai SAN and Shenqi Jiangtang granules.
