Biological Activity

Ganodermanontriol is a sterol isolated from Ganoderma lucidum, induces anti-inflammatory activity in tert-butyl hydroperoxide (t-BHP)-damaged hepatic cells through the expression of HO-1. Ganodermanontriol inhibits breast cancer cell lines MCF-7 and MDA-MB-231with IC50 values of 5.8 and 9.7 μM, respectively. Ganodermanontriol exhibits hepatoprotective activity.
