Evenamide (NW-3509) is an orally available voltage-gated sodium channel (VGSC) blocker with Ki value of 0.4 µM. Evenamide shows efficacy in a broad spectrum of rodent models of psychosis, mania, depression, and aggressiveness. Evenamide (1 mg/kg; po) is effective in attenuating the social interaction deficit in Cl 395 (PCP)-impaired rats.
