DM1-SMCC is DM1 with a reactive linker SMCC, which can react with antibody to make ADC. DM1 is an antibody-conjugatable maytansinoid which can overcome systemic toxicity associated with maytansine and to enhance tumor-specific delivery. DM1 binds at the tips of microtubules and suppresses the dynamicity of microtubules.
