Aloe-emodin (AE), a hydroxyanthraquinone present in Aloe vera leaves, has a specific in vitro and in vivo antineuroectodermal tumor activity. Aloe-emodin can bind with mTORC2 and inhibit its kinase activity. Aloe-emodin shows significant inhibitory activity against the P-388 leukemia in mice when administered as a suspension in acetone-Tween 80. Aloe-emodin has a specific in vitro and in vivo antineuroectodermal tumor activity.
