Biological Activity

Agarose is a kind of polysaccharide that can be derived from seaweed, modified with hydroxyethyl and methoxy groups on the polysaccharide chain, which is suitable for in-gel enzymatic reactions, tissue culture, cell cloning and viral vacuole analysis and other related studies. It is commonly used in molecular biology and biochemistry to isolate and purify DNA and RNA fragments. This product can be made into 0.5-2.5% agarose gel according to different needs and can resolve DNA and RNA fragments from 50-15,000 bp.

Cetrimonium Bromide

Cetrimonium Bromide is a known component of the broad-spectrum antiseptic cetrimide, which is a mixture of different quaternary ammonium salts.

Chicken egg albumin (agarose gel electrophoresis)

Chicken egg albumin, or ovalbumin, is the major protein constituent of egg whites. Ovalbumin is useful as a marker (∼45 kDa) for protein electrophoresis. Ovalbumin has been used to produce an animal model of asthma. Ovalbumin was used as a medium for cell incubation in EliCell assay for the detection of released cytokines from eosinophils. Studies to test the effects of localization on DNA immunizations use ovalbumin in antibody assays. Ovalbumin has been used as an induction agent in model studies of atopic dermatitis.

T7 RNA Polymerase (E. coli)

T7 RNA polymerase is a DNA-dependent RNA polymerase that specifically recognizes the T7 promoter sequence (5' -TaatacgactCactatagggaga-3 ') and has high specificity for the phage T7 promoter sequence. T7 RNA polymerase can catalyze NTP incorporation of single or double stranded DNA template downstream of T7 promoter to synthesize RNA complementary to the downstream DNA template of T7 promoter.

Recombinant RNase Inhibitor

RNase Inhibitor is a recombinant protein of murine origin expressed in E.coli, which specifically inhibits RNase A, B and C by binding noncovalently in a 1:1 ratio with high affinity.

Recombinant RNase R

Recombinant RNase R (E. coli) is a magnesium-dependent 3′→5′ exoribonuclease that can digest all linear RNAs but does not digest lariat or circular RNA structures. Most cellular RNAs will be digested completely by RNase R, with the exception of tRNAs, 5S RNA and intron lariats.
