8-O-acetylharpagide is a kind of iridoid compound isolated from Ajuga reptans and has anti-tumor, antiviral, antibacterial and anti-inflammatory activities. 8-O-acetylharpagide also has bioactivity on isolated smooth muscle of guinea pig.
