| Description: | Talotrexin (PT523), an analog of Aminopterin, is a nonpolyglutamatable classic antifolate. Talotrexin is a RFC (reduced folate carrier) specific inhibitor and selectively inhibits RFC transport. Talotrexin shows antitumor activity by targeting DHFR to inhibit tumor growth. |
