| Description: | Silydianin, the active ingredient of silythistle, has anti-collagenase and anti-elastic enzyme activities. Silydianin is a natural protein tyrosine phosphatase 1B (PTP1B) inhibitor with an IC50 value of 17.38 μM. Silydianin inhibited the production and release of oxidation products in vitro. |
