| Description: | Ophiopogonin D, isolated from the tuber of Ophiopogon japonicus, is a rare naturally occurring C29 steroid glycoside. Ophiopogonin D is a CYP2J3 inducer. By increasing the expression of CYP2J2/EETs and PPARα in human umbilical vein endothelial cells (HUVECs), Ophiopogonin D significantly inhibited Ang Ii-induced NF-κB nuclear translocation and IκBα down-regulation. Intracellular Ca2+ overload and activation of pro-inflammatory cytokines. |
| Stability and Solubility Advice: | Information concerning product stability, particularly in solution, has rarely been reported and in most cases we can only offer a general guide. We recommend that stock solutions, once prepared, are stored aliquoted in tightly sealed vials and used within 1 month. Avoid repeated freeze and thaw cycles. Storage conditions for some special products should refer to their storage details. |
