| Description: | Nothofagin, a dihydrochalcone, is isolated from rooibos (Aspalathus linearis). Nothofagin downregulates NF-κB translocation through blocking calcium influx. Nothofagin has antioxidant activity and ameliorates various inflammatory responses such as the septic response and vascular inflammation. |
