| Description: | Neomycin sulfate belongs to a class of antibiotics known as the aminoglycosides. Neomycin is suitable for resistance screening in common prokaryotic cells. For resistance screening in eukaryotic cells using the neo gene (neomycin resistance gene) as a marker, G418 (M2719) is recommended. |
