| Description: | Nateglinide is an orally active, short-acting insulin-releasing compound that is also an inhibitor of DPP IV. Nateglinide inhibits ATP-sensitive K+ channels in islet β cells. Nateglinide is available for the study of type 2 diabetes mellitus (non-insulin-dependent). |
