| Description: | Nalidixic acid sodium salt is an inhibitor of bacterial DNA polymerase (DNA gyrase) and avian myeloblastoma virus reverse transcriptase. Nalidixic acid sodium salt is a quinolone antibiotic, it is effective against both gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria. Nalidixic acid acts in a bacteriostatic manner in lower concentrations and is bactericidal in higher concentrations. |
