| Description: | Maackiain (DL-Maackiain) was separated from Maackia amurensis Rupr. Et Maxim. Maackiain (DL-Maackiain) is a larval insecticide against Aedes aegypti with a LD50 of 21.95 μg/ mL. Maackiain (DL-Maackiain) induces DNA fragmentation into oligonucleosome size fragments, similar to apoptotic characteristics such as HL-60 cells. |
