| Description: | Manumycin A is a selective, competitive inhibitor of protein farnesyl transferase (FTase) with respect to farnesylpyrophosphate (Ki=1.2 μM), and as a noncompetitive inhibitor with respect to the Ras protein. Manumycin A is also an antibiotic. |
