| Description: | Madecassic acid was isolated from Centella asiatica (umbelliferae). Madecassic acid showed inhibition of iNOS, COX-2, TNF-α, IL-1beta and IL-6, and had anti-inflammatory effect by down-regulation of NF-κB activation in RAW 264.7 macrophages. |
