| Description: | Lauroyl-L-carnitine chloride is an amphiphilic compound capable of forming micelles. Lauroyl-L-carnitine chloride enhances absorption by reducing solution surface tension, thereby increasing the dissolution and diffusion of compounds and bioactive molecules within the gastrointestinal tract of experimental animals. Furthermore, as a transport carrier for long-chain fatty acids (such as lauric acid), lauroyl-L-carnitine chloride facilitates the entry of fatty acids into mitochondria for β-oxidation. Lauroyl-L-carnitine chloride can be used as an absorption enhancer. |
| Stability and Solubility Advice: | Information concerning product stability, particularly in solution, has rarely been reported and in most cases we can only offer a general guide. We recommend that stock solutions, once prepared, are stored aliquoted in tightly sealed vials and used within 1 month. Avoid repeated freeze and thaw cycles. Storage conditions for some special products should refer to their storage details. |
