| Description: | Lixumistat (IM156) is a novel biguanide mitochondrial protein complex 1 inhibitor of oxidative phosphorylation (OXPHOS) with anti-tumor activity. Lixumistat regulates OXPHOS to attenuate mitochondrial metabolic reprogramming and inhibit lung fibrosis. Lixumistat (IM156) is a metformin derivative, which increases AMPK phosphorylation. |
