| Description: | FITC-NHS is an active fluorescent-labelled lipid that combines fluorescein (FITC) with an NHS-active ester terminal group on the lipid molecule, thereby enabling the visualisation of biomolecules or lipid systems. Through a covalent reaction between the NHS-active ester and primary or secondary amine functional groups on the target molecule, the fluorophore is stably bound to the surface of lipids or proteins. |
