| Description: | Emodin is an anti-SARS-CoV compound that blocks the interaction between the SARS-coronavirus spike protein and angiotensin converting enzyme 2 (ACE2). Emodin inhibited casein kinase 2 (CK2) and 11β-HSD1. Emodin can also induce necrotic apoptosis of glioma U251 cells and inhibit U251 cell proliferation by targeting the TNF/RIPK1/RIPK3 signaling pathway. |
