| Description: | Dihydroartemisinin is a potent anti-malaria agent. Dihydroartemisinin, a derivative of artemisinin in which the C-10 lactone group is replaced by hemiacetals and active metabolites of all artemisinin compounds, is a widely used antimalarial compound that effectively induces iron death in acute myeloid leukemia cells (HL60, KG1, and THP-1) by regulating iron metabolism. |
