| Description: | CUR5g is a potent autophagy inhibitor that selectively inhibits autophagosome degradation in cancer cells by blocking autophagosome-lysosome fusion. CUR5g also prevents STX17 from being recruited to autophagosomes through a UVRAG-dependent mechanism, resulting in the inability of autophagosomes to fuse with lysosomes. In addition, CUR5g enhances the in vitro and in vivo anticancer effects of cisplatin in A549 cells. |
