| Description: | Citral is a monoterpene found in Cymbopogon citratus essential oil, with antihyperalgesic, anti-nociceptive and anti-inflammatory effects. Citral has been shown to activate PXR and induce its target genes. Citral is also a natural ALDH1A inhibitor, which can induce apoptosis and cycle arrest in breast cancer cell lines. |
