| Description: | Calmidazolium chloride (R 24571) is a calmodulin antagonist that antagonizes CaM-dependent phosphodiesterase and calmodulin-induced activation of Ca2+-transporting ATPase in erythrocytes with IC50s of 0.15 and 0.35 μM, respectively. it is also used in anticancer studies. It binds CaMK with a Kd value of 3 nM. |
