Description: β-Lactoglobulin, a major whey protein, is a small globular protein from the lipocalin family. β-Lactoglobulin is a ligand transport agent. β-Lactoglobulin is an important source of the essential and branched-chain amino acids (leucine, isoleucine, and valine).
