| Description: | Benzoylmesaconine (Mesaconine 14-benzoate) is a monoester-type alkaloid and is the most abundant component of Wutou decoction, which is widely used in China for rheumatoid arthritis. Benzoylmesaconine exhibits potent anti-inflammatory properties by inhibiting NF-κB. Benzoylmesaconine can suppress NLRP3 inflammasome activation by inhibiting IL-1β secretion and GSDMD-N protein expression. |
