| Description: |
AkaLumine hydrochloride is a luciferin analogue, with a Km of 2.06 μM for recombinant Fluc protein. The fluorescence emitted by AkaLumine has a wavelength of 677 nm, enabling more effective penetration of deep tissue. At this wavelength, biological tissue components such as haemoglobin, water, and lipids exhibit minimal absorption and scattering effects. Consequently, the light signal generated by AkaLumine can be captured more efficiently by detection equipment. |
| Stability and Solubility Advice: |
Information concerning product stability, particularly in solution, has rarely been reported and in most cases we can only offer a general guide.
We recommend that stock solutions, once prepared, are stored aliquoted in tightly sealed vials and used within 1 month. Avoid repeated freeze and thaw cycles. Storage conditions for some special products should refer to their storage details. |
