| Description: | ADHP (same as Amplex Red, Ampliflu Red) is a highly sensitive fluorescent probe for hydrogen peroxide and peroxidases. In the presence of peroxidases such as horseradish peroxidase (HRP) and myeloperoxidase (MPO), ADHP reacts 1:1 with H₂O₂ to produce a strongly fluorescent red compound. myeloperoxidase (MPO), and other peroxidases. Resorufin exhibits maximum excitation at 571 nm and maximum emission at 585 nm. It demonstrates strong visible light absorption at the excitation wavelength and can be detected at 570 nm. |
| Stability and Solubility Advice: | Information concerning product stability, particularly in solution, has rarely been reported and in most cases we can only offer a general guide. We recommend that stock solutions, once prepared, are stored aliquoted in tightly sealed vials and used within 1 month. Avoid repeated freeze and thaw cycles. Storage conditions for some special products should refer to their storage details. |
